உலக செய்திகள்

 

 

• ஹாங்காங்கில்(சீனா) பட்ஜெட் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது, இதில் இந்திய மதிப்பில் ரூ.1லட்சத்து 14 அயிரம் கோடி உபரி பட்ஜெட் கிடைத்துள்ளது. இந்த உபரி பட்ஜெட்டை மக்களுக்கு பிரித்து கொடுக்க ஹாங்காங் அரசு முடிவெடுத்துள்ளது.

 

• மலேசியாவில், போலி செய்திகள் வெளியிடுபவர்களுக்கு(ஊடகங்கள் மற்றும் தொலைக்காட்சி, வானொலி) 10 ஆண்டுகள் சிறை அல்லது 1 லட்சம் டாலர் அபராதம் விதிக்கும் புதிய மசோதா நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.

 

• அமெரிக்காவில் உள்ள ரஷ்ய தூதரகத்தை மூடவும், அந்நாட்டு தூதரக அதிகாரிகள் 60 பேரை அமெரிக்காவை விட்டு வெளியேற்றவும் அதிபர் ‘டொனால்டு டிரம்ப்’ உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.

• உலக அளவில் செல்போனில் இணையதளம் வாயிலாகத் தரவிறக்கம் செய்யும் வேகத்தில் இந்தியா 109வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது.

 

• நாடு முழுவதும் மத்திய உளவுத் துறையில் பணியாற்றும் அதிகாரிகள் சுமார் 600 பேர் திடீர் இடமாற்றும் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

 

• இந்தியாவில் தடை செய்யப்பட்ட பகுதிகளுக்கு வெளிநாட்டு சுற்றுலா பயணிகள சிறப்பு அனுமதியின்றி செல்ல அனுமதி வழங்க மத்திய அரசு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.

• ஸ்ரீஹரிகோட்டாவில் ‘ஜிசாட்-6ஏ’ என்ற செயற்கைக்கோளுடன், ‘ஜி.எஸ்.எல்.வி.எப்-8’ என்ற ராக்கெட் மார்ச் 29ம் தேதி விண்ணில் ஏவப்படவுள்ளது.

 

• 2017ம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 24ம் தேதி ஸ்பேஸ் எக்ஸ் நிறுவனத்தால் ஏவப்பட்ட ராக்கெட் காரணமாக அயனி மண்டலத்தில் 60 கிலோ மீட்டர் சுற்றளவுக்கு தற்காலிக துளை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது என தைவானைச் சேர்ந்த பல்கலைக் கழக குழுவினர் ஆராய்ச்சியில் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

 

• இந்தியாவின் எதிர்கால வளர்ச்சிக்காக ‘மங்கள்யான்-2’ செயற்கைகோள் தயாரிக்கப்படும் என்று இஸ்ரோ இயக்குநர் ‘மயில்சாமி அண்ணாதுரை’ தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

• 2018-2019ம் நிதி அண்டின் முதல் 6 மாதங்களில் ரூ.2.88 லட்சம் கோடியை வெளிநாடுகளில் இருந்து கடனாகப் பெற மத்திய அரசு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது. 

 

• உலக அளவில் அதிக வேகத்துடன் இன்டர் நெட் சேவை வழங்கும் நாடுகள் வரிசையை ஓக்லா நிறுவனம் வெளியிட்டது. இதில் பிராட்பேண்ட் இண்டர் நெட்வேகத்தில் இந்தியா 67வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. 

 

• ஸ்ரீ குரு கோபிநாத் அவர்களின் பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு ரூ.350 நாணயத்தை வெளியிட உள்ளதாக மத்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கி அறிவித்துள்ளது. 

 

• பொதுத் துறையைச் சேர்ந்த பிஎஸ்என்எல் நிறுவனம் நெட்வொர்க் விரிவாக்க திட்டங்களில் ரூ.4,300 கோடியை முதலீடு செய்வுள்ளதாகத் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. 

 

• இந்தியாவில் கச்சா எண்ணெய் இறக்குமதி செலவினம் நடப்பு நிதியாண்டில் 25 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

• The government has extended the deadline for linking Aadhaar with PAN for the fourth time by three more months, till June 30. It also extended the deadline for linking Aadhaar with the disbursal of benefits including subsidies under the social welfare schemes by three more months, till June 30.

 

• Ministry of Power partnered with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship to train the manpower in six states (Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh) for speedy implementation of its SAUBHAGYA scheme.

 

• The Union Minister for Tribal Affairs, Jual Oram launched ‘e-Tribes: Tribes India’. It is an initiative for digital commerce at Tribes India Outlet in New Delhi. It included launch of e-commerce portal of TRIFED, www.tribesindia.com, and M-commerce, the android app ‘Tribes India’.

 

• Rs 5 crore insect museum with the state-of-the-art amenities was unveiled by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswamy at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. The museum, established at a 6,691 sqft area, is fully dedicated to insects and is first of its kind in the country.

 

International News

 

• Now India is the third largest electricity producer ahead of Russia Japan. India’s electricity production grew 34% over seven years to 2017, and the country now produces more energy than Japan and Russia, which had 27% and 8.77% more electricity generation capacity installed, respectively, than India seven years ago.

 

Appointments

 

• Krishnaswamy Vijay Raghavan was appointed the principal scientific adviser to the government of India. Vijay Raghavan will succeed physicist Rajagopala Chidambaram who has been in the position for more than 16 years

 

• Veteran director Shekhar Kapur has been appointed as chairman of the central panel of the 65th National Film Awards. Mr. Kapur is known for his work in Hindi cinema and International cinema.

 

Awards

 

• Chhattisgarh bagged the National ‘Water Digest Award’ for Water Conservation-Diversion and for increasing the irrigation capacity in the State. This is the first time that Chhattisgarh Water Resources Department had been given national Award during the past 17 years.

 

• South Asian Cinema Foundation (SACF), a London based organisation has received the Frederick Pincott Award for 2017 from the Indian High Commissioner, Y K Sinha for promoting Hindi cinema in Britain for the last 18 years.

• Muskan Bhanwala won the gold medal at the Shooting Junior World Cup as she topped the women’s 25 metres Pistol event.

 

• 17th Sub-junior National Wushu Championship began in Jammu. The national level sports event is being organised in the winter capital city of Jammu by the Wushu Association of India in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council at MA Stadium
