பஞ்சாப் மாநிலத்தில் நிலத்தடி நீரை கண்காணிக்கும் திட்டமான பானி பச்சோ, பசை காமோ (Panni Bachao, Paise Kamao) என்னும் திட்டம் அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
திறந்தவெளி மலம் கழித்தலுக்கு அதிராக விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் ஹரியானாவில் உள்ள கோடகன் கிராம பஞ்சாயத்தில் “ கழிப்பறை இல்லை மணப்பெண் இல்லை” என்னும் தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது.
உலகில் முதன்முறையாக வின்வெளியில் உள்ள உடைந்த செயற்கை கோள்கள், விமான பாகங்கள் போன்ற குப்பைகளை அகற்ற ரிமூவ் டெப்ரீஸ் (Remove Debris) எனும் செயற்கைகோளை விண்வெளி நிலையத்தில் இங்கிலாந்து விண்ணில் செலுத்திவுள்ளது.
உத்யம் சங்கம் – எனும் தேசிய அளவிலான MSME மாநாடு புதுடெல்லியில் குடியரசு தலைவர் இராம்நாத் கோவிந்த் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். இதில் கைத்தொழில் கலைஞர்களுக்கான தொழில் வாய்ப்புகளை உருவாக்க (Solar Charkha Mission) தொடங்கி உள்ளார்.
15 வது இந்திய-ஆஸ்திரேலிய அமைச்சர்களின் நிலையான கூட்டு ஆணையக் கூட்டம் (India- Australia Joint Ministerial Commission) கூட்டம் ஆஸ்திரேலியாவின் கேன்பெராவில் நடைபெற்றது.
இந்தியா உள்ளிட்ட 27 நாடுகள் கலந்து கொள்ளும் பிரமாண்ட கடற்படை போர் பயிற்சி (Rim of the Pacific -RIMPAC) ஹாவாய் தீவில் உள்ள பியர்ஸ் துறைமுகத்தில் ஜுன் 27 ல் தொடங்கியது.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurated the Udyam Sangam-2018 on June 27, 2018 to celebrate the 2nd United Nations Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day.
Udyam Sangam-2018 is an important effort in developing effective eco-systems for MSME sector and will empower women and weaker sections by providing training to 80 lakh women.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) based carrier Emirates Airline has launched a joint project with US Crop One Holdingsto build the world’s largest vertical farming facility near Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport.
The world’s largest multilateral naval exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) is all set to begin off Hawaii in the Western Pacific Ocean on June 27.
The two-monthlong biennial exercise is likely to be attended by navies of 26 countries including India.
APPOINTMENT
Senior bureaucrat S Ramesh has been appointed as the Chairman of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), the apex policy-making body for indirect taxes.
He will succeed Vanaja N Sarna, who superannuates on June 30.

Nearly 10 years after India launched Chandrayan-1 aircraft which completed over 3,400 orbits around the moon, the country is once again all set to attempt a similar mission dubbed as Chandrayaan-2, in October 2018.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will send a rover to the Moon in October to research the prospects of mining helium-3 and water.
