தமிழக நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• தமிழகத்தில் 2019 ம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி-1 ஆம் தேதி முதல் பிளாஸ்டிக் பயன்பாட்டிற்கு தடை விதிக்கப்படும் என தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்ததில் முதல் கட்டமாக சேலத்தில் ஜுலை 1 முதல் பிளாஸ்டிக்கிற்கு தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• தூய்மையான நகரங்கள் தேசிய அளவில் தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள சென்னை மாநகராட்சி 100-வது இடத்தில் உள்ளது.
  • கடந்த ஆண்டு நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள 434 நகரங்களில் சென்னை 235-வது இடம் பிடித்திருந்தது.
  • முதல் 3 இடங்களில் மத்திய பிரதேச மாநிலம் இந்தூர் போபால் மற்றும் சண்டிகர் ஆகியவை பிடித்துள்ளன.

 

 

• சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் முதல் ராணுவ அதிகாரி கே.எம். கரியப்பா அவர்களின் சிலை சென்னை இரானுவ பயிற்சி மையத்தில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

இந்திய நிகழ்வுகள்

 

• முதல் உலக போரில் உயிர்நீத்த இந்தியர்களின் நினைவாக பிரான்ஸ் நாட்டின் பாரிஸ் நகரில் உள்ள Villers Guislin என்ற இடத்தில் போர் நினைவகம் இந்தியா சார்பில் அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளது.

 

 

• மேற்கு வங்காளத்தில் உள்ள விஷ்வ பாரதி பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் யோகா கிராமம் (Yoga gram) அமைய உள்ளது.

 

 

• இந்தியாவில் திறன் மிக்க வெள்ள மேலாண்மைக்கு உதவ கூகுள் நிறுவனத்துடன் மத்திய நீர்வள ஆணையம் ஒப்பந்தம் செய்துள்ளது.

• உயிரி தொழில் நுட்பம், புதுப்பிக்கதக்க எரிசக்தி, பாரம்பரிய மருத்துவம் ஆகிய துறைகளில் ஒத்துழைப்பை மேம்படுத்த இந்தியா-கியூபா இடையே ஒப்பத்தம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

விருதுகள்

 

• 52 – வது SKOCH SMART GOVERNANCE AWARD -2018  என்றும் விருது மத்திய அரசின் பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சகத்திற்கு(Ministry of Women and Child Development) வழக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • Chief minister of the year எனும் விருது ராஜஸ்தான் முதல்வர் வசுந்தர ராஜே என்பவருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• சிங்கப்பூர் தேசிய நீச்சல் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் போட்டியில் இந்தியாவின் சந்தீப் செஜ்வால் ஆடவரக்கான 50 மீ பிரெஸ்ட் ஸ்ரோக் பிரவில் தங்கம் வென்றுள்ளார்.

• In Maharashtra, the statewide ban on single-use plastic items came into effect from June 23 in a bid to fight pollution caused due to its extensive use.

 

• The three day Photo Exhibition on ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Khelo India Khelo’ was inaugurated in Chandigarh on June 23.

• US Scientists in the University of Michigan have developed the world’s smallest computer. It measures just 0.3 millimetres and could help find new ways to monitor and treat cancer.
  • These new microdevices named Michigan Micro Mote lose all prior programming and data as soon as they are switched off.

 

• India will construct a war memorial at Villers Guislain, a town around 200 km from Paris France to highlight the contribution of the soldiers of the undivided India to the freedom of France in the World War I.

 

 Appointment

• The government appointed Arjit Basu as Managing Director of the country’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI). He will fill the position that fell vacant following the elevation of Rajnish Kumar as the chairman.

• Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has been conferred the ‘Chief Minister of the Year’ award at the 52nd Skoch Summit held in New Delhi for her remarkable work in e-governance.
