• கிரமப்புற பெண்களின் வாழ்வாதாரத்துக்காக சேவை புரிந்த மதுரையைச் சேர்ந்த  சின்னப்பிள்ளைக்கு 2018-ஆண்டிற்கான அவ்வையார் விருது வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது
  • பெண்கள் மேம்பாடு, சமூக சீர்த்திருத்தம் உள்பட பல்வேறு துறைகளில் சிறப்பாகப் பணியாற்றும் பெண்களுக்கு அவ்வையார் விருது கடந்த 2012 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் வழங்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

 

 

• மதுரை அருகேயுள்ள தோப்பூரில் 1600 கோடி மதிப்பீட்டில் 750 படுக்கை வசதிகளுடன் கூடிய நவீன  எய்மஸ் மருத்துவமனை அமையவுள்ளது.
  • இம்மருத்துவமனையானது (Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana – PMSSY) என்ற திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அமையவுள்ளது. இந்த திட்டத்தின் கீழ் நாடு முழுவதும் 20 அனைத்து இந்திய மருத்துவ அறிவியல் கழகங்கள்.(All India Institute for Medical Sciences – AIIMS) அமைக்கப்பட உள்ளது.

• சுற்றுச் சூழலை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் மரம் நடும் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு தலா ரூ 50 ஊக்கத் தொகை வழங்கும் திட்டத்தை ஹரியானா மாநிலம் அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

 

 

• சிக்கிம் மாநில அரசின் விளம்பரத் தூதராக தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற இசைமைப்பாளர் ஏ. ஆர். ரஹ்மான் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

 

 

• மேகாலயா மாநிலத்தின் தலைநகர் சில்லாங் நகரமானது இந்தியாவின் 100 வது பொலிவுறுநகரமாக (Smart City) தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• உலகின் முதல் சர்வதேச மனிதநேயம் தடவியல் (humanitarian Forensic)) மையம் குஜராத் மாநிலம் காந்திநகரில் அமையவுள்ளது.

• சர்வதேச யோகா தினம்- ஜுன்-21 ஆண்டுதோறும் ஜுன் 21-ந் தேதி சர்வதேச யோகா தினமாக கொண்டாடப்படும் என்று கடந்த 2014 ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் மாதம் ஐ.நா. பொதுச்சபை அறிவித்தது. முதல்முறையாக 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுன் 21 ஆம் தேதி சர்வதேச யோகா தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது.
  • ஜுன் 21,2018 ஆம் தேதி 4-வது சர்வதேச யோக தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. 
  • இந்த வருடம் உத்தரகாண்டு மாநிலம் டேராடூன் இல் நடைபெறுகிறது.
  • இந்த ஆண்டின் கருப்பொருள்: அமைதிக்கான யோகா.

 

 

விருதுகள்

 

• இந்திய பொலிவுறு நகரங்களுக்கான விருது 2018 ல் புதிய திட்டங்களை செயல்படுத்தியதற்கான “நகர விருது (City Award) குஜராத் மாநிலத்தின் சூரத் நகருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது.

• US scientists have unveiled the world’s most powerful and smartest scientific supercomputer named ‘Summit’ that can complete over 200,000 trillion calculations per second – providing unprecedented computing power for research in energy, advanced materials and artificial intelligence (AI).

• Miss Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu was declared the winner of the 55th edition of Femina Miss India 2018 pageant held at Dome, NSCI Stadium, Mumbai.
  • Miss Meenakshi Chaudhary from Haryana and Miss Shreya Rao from Andhra Pradesh bagged the first and second runner up positions respectively.
