உலக செய்திகள்

 

 

• சினாவில் உள்ள குவிங்டோ நகரில் ஷாங்காய் ஒத்துழைப்பு மாநாடு ஜுன் 9 மற்றும் 10ம் தேதிகளில் நடைபெற உள்ளது. 

 

• அமெரிக்காவில், வாஷிங்டன் நகரில் உள்ள நியூசியம் என்னும் அருங்காட்சியகத்தில்(பத்திரிக்கையாளர்கள் நினைவகம்), 2 இந்திய பத்திரிக்கையாளர்கள்(கௌரி லங்கேஷ், சுதீப் தத்தா) இடம் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.

தேசிய செய்திகள்

 

 

• உத்திரப்பிரதேசத்தில் மிகவும் பழைமையான மொகல் சாராய் இரயில் நிலையத்திற்கு தீன்தயாள் உபாத்யாயா என பெயர் மாற்றம் செய்யப்பட உள்ளது. 

 

• குடியரசு தலைவர் மாளிகையில், ஆண்டுதோறும் முஸ்லிம் மதத் மற்றும் அரசியல் தலைவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் இப்தார் விருந்து நிகழ்ச்சியை இந்த வருடம் நடத்துவதில்லை என்று குடியரசு தலைவர் ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். 

 

• மும்பையில் பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடியின் ‘தேசிய நீர் கொள்கை’ என்ற திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அனைத்து இரயில் நிலையங்களிலும், வாட்டர் ஏடி.எம்.களை மத்திய அரசு அமைத்துள்ளது. 

 

• தூர்தர்ஷன் மற்றும் ஆல் இந்தியா அமைப்புக்கு மத்திய அரசின் செய்தி மற்றும் ஒளிபரப்புத் துறை ரூ.617 கோடியை நிதியாக அளித்துள்ளது. இந்த நிதி ஊழியர்களின் ஊதிய பாக்கியை அளிக்க மட்டுமே ஒதுக்கீடு செய்துள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

 

• இரயிலில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டதை விட அதிகளவு பொருள்களை எடுத்;துச் செல்லும் பயணிகளுக்கு, 6 மடங்கு அபராதம் விதிக்க இந்திய இரயில்வே அமைப்பு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது. 

 

• ஊட்டச்சத்துக்கள் செரிவூட்டப்பட்ட அரிசியை ரேஷன் கடைகள் மூலமாக விநியோகம் செய்ய மத்திய அரசு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதாக மத்திய உணவுத்துறை அமைச்சர் ராம் விலாஸ் பஸ்வான் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். 

 

• தமிழகத்தில், இலவச நாட்டு கோழி வழங்கும் திட்டத்தை முதலமைச்சர் எடப்பாடி பழனிச்சாமி அறிவித்துள்ளார். 

 

• மத்திய பிரதேச அரசு, அம்மாநிலத்தில் அரசாங்க பணிகளுக்கு இனி எலெக்ட்ரிக் கார்களை பயன்படுத்த முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.

• போர்ப்ஸ் இணையதளமானது உலகளவில் அதிக சம்பளம் பெறக்கூடிய விளையாட்டு வீரர்கள் பட்டியலை வெளியிட்டது. இதில் அமெரிக்காவைச் சேர்ந்த குத்துச்சண்டை வீரர் மேவெதா முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளார். இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் விராட் கோலி 83வது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளார். 

 

• ஐசிசி டெஸ்ட் ரேங்கிங் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. இதில் பேட்ஸ்மேன்களுக்கான தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் விராட்கோலி 2வது இடத்தில் உள்ளார். பந்து வீச்சாளர்களுக்கான தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் ரவீந்தர ஜடேஜா மற்றும் அஸ்வின் 3, 4வது இடத்தில் உள்ளனர். ஆல் ரவுண்டர் தரவரிசைப் பட்டியலில் ரவீந்திர ஜடேஜா 2வது இடத்தில் உள்ளார். 

 

• ரஷ்யாவில் நடைபெறவுள்ள உலக கோப்பை தொடரில் சமரா ஸ்டேடியம் அறிமுகமாகிறது. ரஷ்ய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சிப் பணிகள் அதிகம் நடைபெறுவதை கவுரவிக்கும் வகையில், ஸ்டேடியத்தின் வடிவமைப்பு விண்வெளியை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டுள்ளது.

• மலேசியாவில் முதல் முறையாக இந்தியாவை பூர்விகமாகக் கொண்ட டாமி தாமஸ் அட்டர்னி ஜெனரலாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார். 

 

• கியூபா நாட்டுக்கான இந்திய தூதராக, மது சேத்தி என்பவரை (லண்டன் தூதரகத்தில் பணியாற்றி வருபவர்) வெளியுறவுத்துறை அமைச்சகம் நியமனம் செய்துள்ளது. 

 

• பவர் கிரிட் நிறுவனத்தின் தென் பிராந்திய டிரான்ஸ்மிஷன் சிஸ்டம்-2 அமைப்பின் புதிய செயல் இயக்குநராக ஆர்.என். சிங் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

 

வர்த்தக செய்திகள்

 

 

• கனரா வங்கியில், வைப்பு தொகையாக ஒரு கோடி ரூபாய் வைத்திருப்பவர்களுக்கு ஓராண்டுக்கு மேல் மற்றும் 444 நாட்கள், 555 நாட்களுக்கு முதிர்வுத் தொகை 7 சதவீதத்திலிருந்து 7.1 சதவீதமாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

 

• ரெப்கோ மைக்ரோ பைனான்ஸ் நிகர லாபம் கடந்த நிதியாண்டில் 70 சதவீதம் அதிகரித்து ரூ.29 கோடியாக உள்ளது. 

 

• அமெரிக்காவின் வர்த்தக கொள்கைகளுக்கு பிரிக்ஸ் வெளியுறவுத்துறை அமைச்சர்கள் மாநாட்டில் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது. 

 

• உள்நாட்டில் உள்ள 12 முக்கிய துறைமுகங்கள் சென்ற ஏப்ரல் மாதத்தில் கையாண்ட சரக்கு 5.58 கோடி டன்னாக உயர்ந்துள்ளது.

National News

• Important Cabinet Approvals-June 6, 2018
  • The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was apprised of the agreement signed in connection with release of Joint Stamps between Department of Posts, India and Russia Post (Joint-Stock Company “MARKA” of Russian Federation) to establish postal cooperation and strive towards mutually beneficial operational excellence in the field of issuance of stamps.
  • Cabinet approves the extension of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Netherlands on technical cooperation in the field of Spatial Planning, Water Management and Mobility Management.
  • The objective of this MoU is to promote bilateral cooperation in the field of sustainable and smart urban development on the basis of reciprocity and mutual benefit through exchange of knowledge, institutional cooperation, research & development and commercial relations on related issues.
  • The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the project for construction of 9 km long new 6 – lane bridge across river Ganga on NH – 96 at Phaphamau in Allahabad with total capital cost of Rs. 1948.25 crore.

 

• According to ASSOCHAM–NEC, India is among the top five countries in generating e-waste. The other countries topping the chart of e-waste generation are China, USA, Japan and Germany.
  • In India, Maharashtra contributes the largest e-waste of 19.8 per cent.

 

• The Ministry of Women and Child Development organized National Consultation on Child Protection in New Delhi. The conference deliberated on the Juvenile Justice (Care and protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) 2012.

 

• Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat announced that there would be a complete ban on use of polythene throughout the state from July 31. The theme for this year’s World Environment Day is beat plastic pollution.

 

• Maharashtra government has announced to provide financial grant of Rs 1,000 per quintal to those farmers whose tur and gram could not be purchased by the administration before the May 31

 

• The Bihar government has launched a new crop insurance scheme “Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme” with effect from Kharif (monsoon) this year. The new scheme replaces the existing system of crop insurance.

 

• The Madhya Pradesh government headed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced an outstanding power bill waiver scheme “Bijli Bill Mafi Yojana 2018 (Power Bill Waiver Scheme)” for labourers and poor families.

 

• The state cabinet also approved Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana 2018 (a scheme to provide subsidised power).

International News

• Nepal’s Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Rajendra Chhetri is on six-day visit to India beginning June 6 on the invitation of his Indian counterpart General Bipin Rawat.

 

• According to Henley Passport Index, Japan has the “most powerful” passport in the world. India is in 76th Position.

Appointment

• Malaysia’s king Sultan Muhammad V has approved the appointment of an ethnic Indian lawyer as the new attorney general. Terminated the current Attorney General Mohamad Apandi Ali and replacing him with Tommy Thomas.

Awards and Honours

• Dhiraj Ram Krishna has received the ‘National Gopal Ratna’ award from Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Radha Mohan Singh in New Delhi for ‘upkeep of the best dairy animals of indigenous breeds’.

 Banking and Economy

• The second bi-monthly monetary policy review, the six members Monetary Policy Committee headed by RBI Governor Urjit Patel unanimously hiked the policy repo rate by 25 basis points to 6.25 percent to curb inflationary pressure from rising crude prices.
