எழும்பூர் அரசு மகப்பேறு மற்றும் நோயியல் மருத்துவமனை மற்றும் அரசினர் தாய்சேய் நல மருத்துவமனையின் 175 ஆவது ஆண்டுகள் நிறைவடைந்தன.
இந்த மருத்துவமனை 1844 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 25 ஆம் தேதி இந்த மருத்துவமனை தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
மெட்ராஸ் லையிங் இன் ஹாஸ்பிட்டல் என்ற பெயரில் பிரிட்டிஷ் பெண்களுக்கு மட்டுமே இந்த மருத்துவமனையில் முதலில் பிரசவம் பார்க்கப்பட்டது.
1882 ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து தான் இந்தியர்களுக்கும் இந்த மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சை அளிக்கப்பட்டது.
தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள நினைவுச் சின்னங்களை பாதுகாப்பதற்காக ஆதர்ஷ் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் ஒப்புதல் அளிக்கப்பட்ட 7 இடங்களின் உள்கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் சுற்றுலா பயணிகளுக்கு ஏதுவான வசதிகளை தரம் உயர்த்துதலுக்கு இந்திய தொல்லியல் கணக்கெடுப்புத் துறை (Archaeological Survey of India) திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.

இந்த அவரச அழைப்பு என் ஆனது குழந்தைகளுக்கான 24 மணி நேர இலவச அவசர சேவையாகும்.
குழந்தைகளுக்கு ஆபத்து நேரும் போது முதலுதவி வழங்கவும் ஆபத்திலிருந்து பாதுகாக்கவும் இந்த எண் பயன்படும்.
தற்போது இந்த எண் இந்தியாவில் மொத்தம் 450 இடங்களில் பயன்பாட்டில் உள்ளது.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced to build a Gandhi Heritage Centre in Uganda’s Jinja, where a statue of Mahatma Gandhi now stands.
He said, “As we approach the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, there can be no better homage than a Centre to remind us of Africa’s role in shaping his mission.”
The 2nd meeting of National Council on India’s Nutrition Challenges under POSHAN Abhiyaan was held in New Dehli.
The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD). It was held under the Chairmanship of Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog.

The Women and Child Development Ministry has invited people to share images of the logo of Childline 1098.
The Childline 1098 is the nationwide emergency helpline for children in distress.
The contest has been organised to mark ‘World Day against Trafficking in Persons’ on July 30. The Childline has been operating at 450 locations, including 76 key railway stations, across the country.
The NITI Aayog has signed an agreement with the Lupin Foundation to collaborate in the government’s ambitious aspirational districts programme.
It aims to quickly and effectively transform some of the most underdeveloped districts of the country.
The NITI Aayog and Lupin Foundation will work in three states – Dholpur in Rajasthan, Nandurbar in Maharashtra and Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh.

India on July 26 celebrated the 19th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas to mark the success of ‘Operation Vijay’ and to remember the supreme sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who lost their lives during the 1999 India-Pakistan Kargil War.
