• சத்தீஸ்கர் மாநில அரசு ஓய்வூதிய திட்டத்தில் வெளிப்படைத் தன்மையை வழங்குவதற்காக ‘Aabhaar Aapki Sewa Ka’ (உங்கள் சேவைக்கு நன்றி) என்ற இணையதளம் மற்றும் அலைபேசி செயலி ஒன்றை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

 

 

• சுகன்யா சம்ரிதி திட்டத்துக்கான குறைந்தபட்ச ஆண்டு முதலீட்டு தொகை 1000 ரூபாயில் இருந்து 250 ரூபாயாக குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

  • சுகன்யா சம்ரிதி திட்டம் கடந்த 2015ம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி மாதம் 28ம் தேதி அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டது.
  • இது பெண் குழந்தைகளுக்கான சிறு முதலீட்டு திட்டமாகும்
  • இத்திட்டத்தின் மூலம் 10வயது வரை உள்ள குழந்தைகளின் பெற்றோர் ஆண்டுக்கு 250 முதல் 1,50,000 வரை முதலீடு செய்யும் திட்டமாகும்
  • இதன் தற்போதைய வட்டி விகிதம் – 8.1 சதவீதம்

• பிரிக்ஸ் நாடுகளின் 10வது உச்சி மாநாடு தென்னாப்பிரிக்காவில் உள்ள ஜெகன்னெஸ்பர்க் நகரில் ஜுலை 25 முதல் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.
• பிரிக்ஸ்(BRICS) நாடுகள்:
  • பிரேசில், ரஷ்யா, இந்தியா, சீனா, தென் ஆப்பிரிக்கா
  • 2017ம் ஆண்டு (9-வது பிரிக்ஸ் மாநாடு) சீனாவின் ஜியாமென் நகரில் நடைபெற்றது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

 

 

• பாதுகாப்பு, வர்த்தகம், கல்வி, விவசாயம், கால்நடை வளங்கள் மற்றும் பால் உற்பத்தி போன்றவற்றில் ஒத்துழைப்பை வலுப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் இந்தியா-ருவாண்டா நாடுகளுக்கிடையே 8 ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையெழுத்தாகி உள்ளது.

  • மிரைடோவா (Miraitowa) என்று பெயரிடப்பட்ட நில நிற சின்னம் ஒலிம்பிக் தொடருக்கும், ‘சோமெண்டி’ என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ள சிகப்பு நிற சின்னம் பாரா – ஒலிம்பிக் தொடரிக்கும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

 

 

• ஜெர்மனில் நடைபெற்ற 11வது ஜெர்மனி கிராண்ட் பிரிக்ஸ் கார்பந்தய போட்டியில் இங்கிலாந்து அணி வீரரான லீவிஸ் ஹால்மில்டன் முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளார்.

• Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha inaugurated Regional Rail Training Institute (RRTI) in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.
  • The Rail Training Institute (RRTI) was inaugurated with an aim to strengthen the expertise and capabilities of the employees of North-Eastern Railways.

 

• The first meeting of the India-Bangladesh Joint Committee on Border Haats was held in Agartala, Tripura.The meeting reveal about the positive impact of Border Hatts on the livelihoods of the people living in areas around the Haats.

 

• A senior official said that, a special unit of the Odisha Police has launched a drive to curb an international syndicate that smuggles endangered pangolin, which is one of the world’s most illegally traded mammals.

 

• Farmers in Rajasthan will soon have the ease to get their defunct transformers replaced within six hours of registering a complaint through a mobile app.
  • Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said the process of replacing transformers used to consume a lot of time, therefore, the government decided to introduce mobile app ‘Bijli Mitra’ so that farmers can register their complaint.

 

• The Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched a contest, #Childline1098, inviting people to share images of the Childline 1098 logo that they spot at unique locations and send it with a tagline, to mark World Day against Trafficking in Persons on July 30.
  • CHILDLINE is India’s first 24-hour, free, emergency phone service for children in need of aid and assistance. At present, it is operational at 450 locations.

 

• A Scheme named ‘Safeguarding the Intangible Cultural Heritage and Diverse Cultural Traditions of India’ is implemented by the Ministry of Culture.
  • Objective of the scheme: reinvigorating and revitalizing several institutions, groups, individuals, identified non-MoC institutions, non-government organisations, researchers and scholars in order to help them involve in activities or projects for strengthening, protecting, preserving and promoting the rich intangible cultural heritage of India.

• Indian Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with United Kingdom to obtain help in enhancing overall public transport system in

• India Heritage Walk Festival, a collaboration of Sahapedia and YES Arts & Culture, has been awarded the PATA Gold Award 2018.
  • The award has been announced by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) in Bangkok under the ‘Heritage-Culture’

 

• Canadian author Michael Ondaatje has again made the Man Booker Prize list with his latest novel “Warlight”.
  • “Warlight” tells the story of two orphans in London in the immediate aftermath of World War II.
