TNPSC EXAM

TNPSC is established by constitution of India in the year of 1929 in the Articles 316 to 319 to have significant future government for public services. It acquired its current name in the year of 1970.Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Exams have four divisions each branch contains their respective postings in their schedule. The eligibility criteria has been determined depends on the  job. Group 1 and 2 requires the degree possess candidate whereas the Group 4 starts up with 10th grade  candidates. Pay scale too varies depending on the job.

GROUP 1:

Group 1 have 3 rounds of selection process i) Preliminary exam  ii) Main exam iii) Face to Face interview. This also anticipates the candidates with some Physical Qualifications. Group 1 grasps the top postings like Deputy superintendent of police, District Registrar and District Employment officer, Deputy collector, Fire and Rescue Service , District officer, Assistant Commissioner. The age limit for SC, ST,MBC,BC,DNC are 37year and for the general category 35 years.

GROUP 2:

 Group 2 have two division with it interview post and non- interview post. For the interview post the selection process will be in three rounds i) preliminary exam ii) Main Exam iii) Face to Face interview whereas the non-interview post will have  a single round of written exam. This acquires the candidate should possess their degree in any university and  the age limits starts from 21yrs to 35 years and it also have some age relaxation for some candidates depends on the category. Pay scale vary depends on the job.

GROUP 3:

For Group 3 the candidate should possess a HSC or degree with 60% .The group 3 holds the positions of junior inspector of co-operative societies and village development officers with the age limit of 18 to 30 year this would differ according to their category.

GROUP 4:

For applying group 4 exam the aspirant can have the minimum qualification of 10th grade. This grasps the postings like village administrative officers. The age limit starts from 18yrs to 35yrs depends on the category.
